Getting There

Travel by Bus and Train

The most convenient way to get to Hamm is undoubtedly by rail. After changing trains at Hamm Central Station to lines RB69 or RE6, you’ll reach Heessen Station in just one stop. The clinic is a short walk from there. You can also take the bus (lines 11 or 12) from Hamm Central Station. The bus stop is located directly at the clinic’s main entrance.

Traveling by car

Directions from the north/west:

Take the BAB 1, exit at Bockum/Werne
Turn right onto Lipperandstraße toward Hamm
Follow it straight for about 9 km until you reach Münsterstraße (B 63), then turn right
After about 2 km, pass the Hamm town sign and continue following the road, going straight through the traffic light and past the first roundabout
Exit the second roundabout onto Sachsenring, follow signs toward “Öko-Zentrum”
Go straight on Sachsenweg past the Öko-Zentrum, turn right at the traffic light intersection
Turn left at the next traffic light, drive to the roundabout
Exit the roundabout onto Vogelstraße After approx. 500 m, turn left onto Enniger Weg (the entrances to the two parking lots for the St. Barbara Clinic are located here)

Directions from the south/west:

Take the BAB 2, exit at Hamm
Turn left onto Werler Straße (B63) toward Hamm city center
After approx. 3.5 km (McDonald’s restaurant), turn right onto Dr. Loeb-Caldenhof-Straße
Follow the road (Caldenhofer Weg, Hohefeldweg, Soester Straße, Fährstraße) for approx. 7 km – over the Lippe and canal bridges to the Hamm-Heessen district
At the traffic light intersection, turn right onto Dolberger Straße
After approx. 800 m, turn left onto Vogelstraße
At the second traffic light, turn right onto Enniger Weg (the entrances to the two parking lots of the St. Barbara Clinic are located here)

Directions from the east:

Take the BAB 2, exit at Hamm-Uentrop
Turn right onto Uentroper Straße toward Dolberg/Ahlen/Hamm
In the Dolberg district, turn left onto Heessener Straße (B61) and follow the signs for Hamm
After the Hamm-Heessen town sign, turn right onto Vogelstraße
At the second traffic light intersection, turn right onto Enniger Weg (this is where the entrances to the two parking lots of the St. Barbara Clinic are located)

Traveling by Air

Thanks to its proximity to three regional airports in Dortmund, Münster, and Paderborn, Hamm is also easily accessible by plane.
